VBS: Hero Headquarters

During this year’s VBS we focused on three stories where anonymous people stepped forward to demonstrate their faith in God. The first story being the servant girl in 2 Kings who believed that the prophet Elisha could heal Naaman (2 Kings 5:1-14). The second story being the Roman centurion who believed Jesus could heal the centurion’s servant without being there in person (Matt 8:5-10, 13). The final story was Jesus feeding the 5000 when a boy gave up his own meal (John 6:1-13).

The weekly post is delayed because I was called into service to lay down rubber molding. Charge Conference is coming in November. Christian Heights will have a fresh coat of paint to greet all the visitors.

Can I get a drumroll please…….. Third Quarter Results: Blue Team, 117; Red Team, 102. (total scores overall: Blue 348 and Red 345…difference of only 3 units!!!) One more week to go!

The Blue Team captures the flag for Week 3.

Food Totals from Week #2: Blue Team, 117 units of food; Red Team, 144 units of food! Amazing!!

Both teams beat their totals from the first week but the Red Team did better.
