The featured image this week is very interesting. It is actually a sketch that was printed on the worship bulletin when the congregation was holding services at 1814 Dawson road. Rev. Don Benningfield was the pastor at the time. The concept sketch predicted a future building would have a primary and secondary sanctuary and rear hallway connecting the two together. It is worth noting that Christian Heights was initially a plain Methodist Church. The United Methodist Church would not be formed until April 1968.
